February 2009 - M307 replaces M-77G Catalog Update
Due to catalog updating, we are revising 3 engine listings. Please use the attached file / accompanying documents to update your catalog(s) accordingly. Additionally, please advise your customers of this change.
The updates involve use of the M307 oil pump in place of the M-77G. The only difference in the pumps is that the M307 has a slightly higher bypass pressure setting (+5 psi). The gears used in both oil pumps are the same so the idle pressure will be the same for both oil pumps.
As a point of comparison the M-77G has a 10 psi higher bypass pressure setting as compared to the M-77 oil pump which also has the same gear set.
