Melling awarded the fuel pump production contract for 2012 Deutz 3.2L & 4.8L engines

Melling announced that it has been awarded a new business contract to design & manufacture a fuel pump for the 2012 Deutz 3.2L & 4.8L Liter engines. This fuel pump will be manufactured at the Melling facility in Jackson, MI and shipped to the Deutz production plant in Germany.

The Deutz 3.2L & 4.8L engines are used in industrial applications. The Melling engineering, sales and development team worked with the Deutz staff in Cologne, Germany to provide 6 different models of this fuel pump to meet the specific application requirements.

Melling’s new European OEM business development manager Crispian Knight is managing this project from his Melling satellite office located in Kent, U.K.
