Melling announced that it has been awarded a Tier 1 business contract to design & manufacture an aluminum water pump for the General Motors 1.6 Liter Engine. This water pump will be manufactured at the Melling facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil and shipped to the General Motors engine assembly plant in Toluca, Mexico.
This General Motors 1.6 Liter engine is currently in production and will be used for vehicles in the Mexico marketplace.
